An Institute Of Indian Classical & Folk Dance was established in July 1991 by its Honorable Founder Ms. Bhavna A. Bhavsar and has since been one of the leading dance institutes in Gujarat and keep Expanding.
The Academy works to preserve and present Indian Classical as well as folk culture through institute by regularly providing Non profitable professional show in Indian Classical dance for Public awareness to show them how rich is our Indian culture for keeping their interest in our culture
The academy is running Diploma and degree Courses in Indian Classical Dance “ Bharatnattyam” Such as ARANGETRAM, B.A in MUSIC, Master Course in classical dance ( M.A Dance) and many more…
Not only national the academy also regularly participate in many International Festival to show the Beautiful culture heritage of Different state of INDIA abroad.
Many students from Gujarat and Maharashtra has participated in International Festival under Banner of Shivam Nrutya Cultural Academy and feel proud to represent India in Folk as well as classical culture.
Presently there are 250 To 500 students taking regular dance classes. The youngest student is 4 years old and the oldest one is 60. The school is international and open to people of all nationalities. Classes are divided according to different levels of dance sophistication. Students learn not only basic steps and movements, but also dance theory and history. The broader objective of Academy is to preserve India's ancient and fabulous cultural heritage through bharatanatyam.
Students from Brazil, Canada, France etc have also learned Indian Classical dance
“Bharatnatyam ” from Shivam Nrutya Cultural Academy.
The Academy designed for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced levels.
Besides of all this Activities the academy is also a center for giving examination in Music, Dance etc. Every year many Students of art from surrounding areas of gujarat Like Pardi, Selvasa, Vapi, Daman, Udwada etc are sitting for examination at Academy.
The students of the academy have till date learned and presented dances from different states of India, like Maharshtra, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kashmir, Punjab Etc .. |
